ABOUT carin

ARTIST, PRODUCER, SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR, MAMA, GARDENER… BUT REALLY…

PUBLIC GOOD, PUBLIC THEOLOGY, BEAUTY, EARTH AND GOOD FOOD... THAT’S WHAT I’M ABOUT.

I am Carin Hübner. I am the daughter of a physical therapist and lobbyist both from upstate New York. I came of age in the Houston bayou; studied journalism and photography among the flatirons; and retreated east to the Potomac to dive deeper into art. The mountains called me home again and I learned the ways of mystics and contemplatives in the Denver valley. I am life partner to the kindest and most positive human. I am mother to the most powerful, most complex and most beautiful tiny woman.

I am enamored by people: where and how they find their deeper meaning and what keeps them moving. In my opinion, the collective human experience and sharing in both suffering and triumph is what keeps the world turning. I am interested in our common, cosmic story and how it has meandered over all these centuries. I wonder about where we are now, how we connect with one another, and how we can all call this place home. I wonder at how we can be the most loving, and how we ALL can experience the most good.

In different forms, I create vessels for our individual stories to be held so that our collective story may rise, bring comfort, bring connection, and foster union and love.

My family lives on and (to the best of our abilities) in honoring unison with Arapaho land.

I’d love to be your creative guide on this wild and wonderful journey of healing + going public.
